Fusion Phone Privacy Policy

Introduction

Fusion Phone is a SIP softphone app that connects to your own FusionPBX server to make and receive calls. We have designed the app with privacy as a core principle: your data stays on your device and your server, not ours.

This privacy policy explains what information the app accesses, how it is stored, and what (very little) is transmitted to our infrastructure.

Data We Collect

The following data is stored locally on your device only:

• SIP credentials — your SIP account username, password, and server address are stored securely in the iOS Keychain. They are never sent to Gilroy Cloud servers.
• Call history — records of your calls are stored locally using SwiftData and never leave your device.
• Contacts access — the app accesses your iOS Contacts (with your permission) solely for caller ID display. Your contacts are never uploaded or transmitted anywhere.

Data We Don't Collect

We do not collect, store, or process any of the following:

• Call audio or recordings
• Message contents
• Contact lists or address book data
• Location data
• Usage analytics or behavioural data
• Advertising identifiers
• Crash reports (unless you opt in via Apple)

There is no analytics SDK, no tracking, and no advertising in this app.

Push Notifications

To deliver incoming call notifications when the app is not running, your device's VoIP push token is sent to our push proxy server. This token is an opaque identifier assigned by Apple and cannot be used to identify you personally.

The push proxy server uses this token solely to forward incoming call notifications from your FusionPBX server to your device via Apple Push Notification service (APNs). No call content or personal information passes through this server.

Third-Party Services

• Apple Push Notification service (APNs) — used to deliver incoming call notifications. Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
• Your FusionPBX server — the SIP server you configure in the app is provided and managed by you (or your organisation), not by Gilroy Cloud. All call data flows directly between your device and your server.

Data Security

We take the security of your data seriously:

• SIP credentials are stored in the iOS Keychain, which provides hardware-backed encryption.
• All SIP signalling and media can be encrypted via TLS/SRTP, depending on your server configuration.
• The push proxy server communicates with APNs over encrypted connections.
• No personal data is stored on our servers beyond the VoIP push token.

Your Rights

Since almost all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control:

• Delete your data — uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data, including credentials and call history.
• Revoke contacts access — you can disable contacts permission at any time in iOS Settings.
• Push token removal — disabling notifications or uninstalling the app will invalidate your push token on our server.

If you have any questions about your data or wish to request deletion of your push token from our server, please contact us.

Children's Privacy

Fusion Phone is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
